The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (P.B.C.) in Science Writing seeks to both help create the next generation of science writers, editors and communicators as well as advance the professions of those already in the field. The program will improve the profession of writing and communication with high-quality and effective instruction. The program will serve experienced writers who want to specialize in writing or editing about a scientific, medical or technological field, scientists, doctors, researchers or others with a technical background who wish to write about their field, and those with degrees or careers in science who want to expand their career flexibility by acquiring writing skills.
