Homeland Security  Program Description

Washington Adventist University is proposing to offer a new stand-alone Upper-Division Certificate in Homeland Security. The programís focus is on peace, conflict resolution, preparation, protection and responding to disasters and terrorism attacks. Students will have a foundation for further study in healthcare, computers, government, international affairs, policy, law enforcement or law and related disciplines. They will be prepared to work in private business, airports, FBI, Secret Service, Department of Homeland Security, military service, border patrol, coast guard, private security and computer science related positions.
