This involves the addition of three new Areas of Concentration, namely: Corporate Accounting, Forensic Accounting, and International Accounting. Additionally, Strayer is discontinuing the concentrations in Accounting Information Systems, and Controllership. Finally, the university is revising the concentrations in Public Accounting, and Taxation.
This concerns the addition of three new Areas of Concentration in Computer Forensic Management, IT Project Management, and Information Systems Management. Additionally, Strayer is revising the three existing concentrations in Computer Security Management, Software Engineering Management, and Enterprise Network Management. The institution is also fundamentally revising the programís core.
Strayer is discontinuing the concentrations in Decision Support Management, Systems Development Management, and Network Management. The programs credit total is fifty-four.Bachelor of Science in Information Systems
The institution proposes adding five new Areas of Concentration in Project Management, Cyber-security Management, Technology Management, Software Engineering Management, and Computer Forensics Management. Strayer is renaming the Database Management concentration Enterprise Management and four wholly new courses will populate it; effectively rendering this a sixth new Area of Concentration. The institution is also revising the concentration in Homeland Security Management.
The university intends discontinuing six Areas of Concentration, namely: Database Developer, Computer Security, Security Administration, Internetworking Technology, Programming Networking, and Web Development. It should be noted that all seven concentrations total eighteen credits. Code of Maryland Regulations 13B.02.03.02B(1)(a) declares twenty-fours credits as the minimum number of credits for designation as an Area of Concentration. Associate of Arts in Information Systems
