What: Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) Education Policy Committee Meeting


Items to be discussed include:
• Final Action on Regulations for the Associate of Science in Engineering (ASE)
• Fortis College as an In-State Degree-Granting Institution
• Report on Programs Reviewed from February 21, 2009 to July 31, 2009
• Report on Private Career Schools: Approval Actions from May 1, 2009 to August 21, 2009

Who: Higher Education Secretary James E. Lyons, Sr., Education Policy Committee Chair Joann A. Boughman, committee members Eyituoyo Ebigbeyi, Mark R. Frazer, Leronia A. Josey, Nhora Barrera Murphy,  Assistant Secretary for Planning and Academic Affairs Dr. George W. Reid, MHEC staff.
