What:        The Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) Retreat.


                    Items to be discussed include:

  • State Plan Progress Report.

  • The Maryland Model for Higher Education
    Gordon “Spud” Van de Water, consultant, presenter.

  • Report of the Commission on the Future of Higher Education
    Charlene R. Nunley, President, Montgomery College; William E. Kirwan, Chancellor, University System of Maryland; and Earl S. Richardson, President, Morgan State University, presenters.

Who:          MHEC Secretary Calvin W. Burnett; Commission Chair, Kevin O’Keefe and

                   Commission members.


When:        8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Wednesday, November 8, 2006.
