TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING ON DECEMBER 15, 2006
What: Public Hearing on critical Workforce Shortages in Maryland
which provide a public
good or benefit to its citizens
Why:
To determine which occupations should be a part of a
financial assistance program
entitled the Workforce Shortage Student Assistance Grant
with the purpose of
addressing workforce shortages within the State

participating in the public hearing,

confirm your participation. Please provide the organization
name; contact name,
telephone number and email; and occupation(s) for which
testimony will be
presented.
Who:
The Advisory Council is comprised of 21 members representing
higher education,
state agencies, business, non-profit organizations and the
General Assembly.
