EDUCATION POLICY COMMITTEE TO MEET JANUARY 10, 2007**

 

 

What:      The Maryland Higher Education Commission’s (MHEC) Education Policy Committee

                 Meeting.

                 Items to be discussed:

• First-Professional Degree at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland;

• Hagerstown Business College as a Degree-Granting Institution;

• Final Adoption of Proposed Amendments to Regulations for
  Out-of-State Institutions: Right of First Refusal;

• State Funding for State Mandated Professional Development Schools; and

• Retention and Graduation Rates at Public Four-Year Campuses
  by SAT Scores.

Who:       MHEC Secretary Calvin W. Burnett; MHEC Assistant Secretary, David Sumler; and the

                 Commission’s Education Policy Committee members: Joann A. Boughman, Ph.D.;

                 Victor E. Bernson, Jr. Esquire; Dr. Anne Osborn Emery; Lt. General Emmett Paige, Jr.

                 (Ret); and Mario F. VillaSanta.

When:     10:00 am, Wednesday, January 10.

Where:    839 Bestgate Road, Suite 400, Annapolis. The meeting will be held in the

                  Commission’s main conference room.
