You Can Afford College 2010 Available for Viewing Online
Annapolis, MD (February 16, 2010) - Through a partnership with Maryland Public
Television (MPT), and funding from USA Funds, the Maryland Higher Education
Commission (MHEC) co-produced You Can Afford College 2010, which is now
available to be viewed online. The goal
of You Can Afford College 2010 is to deliver information tailored to
parents and students who need a comprehensive, how-to approach to finding
financial assistance. This program provides answers to many questions and
takes the guesswork out of paying for college.
MPT has a multi-state footprint
serving the entire Washington Metropolitan area. Viewership is comprehensive
and includes approximately 1 million people who have children between the
ages of 13-17 in the region.

The Maryland Higher Education Commission is a 12-member coordinating board
responsible for establishing statewide policies for Maryland public and
