MARYLAND HIGHER EDUCATION COMMISSION TO MEET FEBRUARY 15

To be discussed: FY 2007 Governor’s Budget Overview

 


Annapolis, MD (February 8, 2006) – The Maryland Higher Education Commission will meet at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 15 at 839 Bestgate Road, Suite 400, Annapolis. The meeting will be held in the Commission’s main conference room.


Among the items to be discussed are:

  • FY 2007 Governor’s Budget Overview

  • Priorities for FY 2007 Awards in the Educational Excellence Award Program

  • Guideline Revisions for State Financial Aid Programs

  • Review of Mission Statements 

  • Proposal for a Revised Performance Accountability Process – Maryland Community Colleges

  • Final Review of the Report on the Partnership Agreement between Maryland and the United States Department of Education Office for Civil Rights
