Engineering Physics Program Description |
The B.S. Engineering Physics program prepares students to apply physics principles to tackle modern engineering challenges, and to apply engineering to address cutting-edge
questions in physics. It is a cross-functional major that bridges the gap between applied science and practical engineering. It is both experimental and theoretical as it emphasizes research and development while also focusing on the design and analysis of
complex problems. The program will combine a strong foundation in physics and mathematics with coursework in engineering principles and design. Students will learn to
use their knowledge of physics to solve real-world problems, and to develop new technologies and applications. |
