Public Health Program Description
The Master of Public Health (MPH) Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is revising its current program curriculum to meet the new Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) accreditation requirements by the fall of 2018.&nbsp; Additionally, this Master’s program currently collaborates with the UMB professional schools to offer six dual-degrees that connect to health, law, and human services: DDS/MPH, JD/MPH, MD/MPH, MS (Nursing)/MPH, PharmD/MPH and MSW/MPH.&nbsp; <br> <br>The number of credits and concentrations in the MPH program will remain the same. The curricular modifications include eliminating content, significant revisions, and moving courses into the core curriculum. Seven new courses with content that was not previously covered in detail will be added to comply with new accreditation requirements. <br>
