Paralegal Studies Program Description
This proposal is intended to replace Cecil College’s existing Paralegal Studies option housed within the College’s Arts and Sciences Transfer degree.  This program will serve as the foundational first two years of study for students preparing for a career as a paralegal.  Students completing the degree will meet the requirements for admission to a Paralegal Certificate Program or to continue their studies toward a Bachelor's Degree in Paralegal Studies.  The curriculum includes coursework in business law, accounting, ethics, law, technical writing, healthcare ethics, history and government, human diversity, and social work.
