| Florida Institute of Technology (FIT) has submitted a proposal in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 13B.02.01.08I, ‘Further requests by institution’ that has received extended operational approval. FIT would like to transfer its programs previously approved at the Patuxent River location to the currently approved Southern Maryland Higher Education Center site. FIT has a certificate of approval from the state of Maryland valid through August 31, 2020. This transfer is necessary due to the Naval Air Station’s termination of the Memorandum of Understanding that provided classroom space at the Air Station. |
