Area of Concentration in International Research Administration Management Program Description
International research administration involves the administration of research being conducted that involves two or more countries, and is designed to accommodate current practitioners as well as those seeking entry into the field. JHU has concurrently submitted a proposal for a P.B.C., also in international research, within the existing M.S. in Research Administration degree. Students have the option of seeking the M.S. with an area of concentration in International Research Administration or obtaining the P.B.C. credential. The area of concentration requires the International Research Infrastructure and Management for Higher Education course and three electives, which constitute 12 of the 36 credit hours required for the M.S. in Research Administration. Students may opt for the P.B.C. option as part of the M.S. degree, requiring that the student complete International Research Infrastructure and Management for Higher Education and four electives, for a total of 15 credit hours.
