Geospatial Intelligence (Online) Program Description |
The M.S. in Geospatial Intelligence is designed to provide students with the technical training, critical thinking skills, background knowledge, and ethical context necessary to become highly skilled geospatial analysts. JHU intends to seek accreditation by the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation for the proposed program to ensure that it meets the needs of the geospatial intelligence community of government and industry partners. Geospatial intelligence has a statutory definition: “the exploitation and analysis of imagery and geospatial information to describe, assess, and visually depict features and geographically referenced activities on earth.” Courses include Geographic Information Systems, Technical Collection of Intelligence, Geospatial Data Modelling and Web Mapping. |
