Science Communitcation Program Description
The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (P.B.C.) in Science Communication will prepare students from diverse professional backgrounds for a career in the health sciences. It educates leaders in health care delivery, biomedical science and social services to improve the health, social functioning and treatment of the people it serves.  The new certificate program is designed for students with related, work experience in healthcare, governmental, private, and non-for-profit organizations. The proposed certificate programs emphasize concept, practices and skills that professionals need to be effective in a wide range of organizations. This certificate includes courses in Introduction to Technical Writing, Writing for Scholarly Journals, Writing Proposals and Grants, and Writing for the Public.
