Forensic Accounting & Fraud Investigation Program Description
The proposed Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigation program is designed to train students in the following content areas:<p>• Criminology, specifically oriented to the nature, dynamics, and scope of fraud and financial crimes; the legal environment; and ethical issues.</p><p>• Fraud prevention, deterrence, detection, investigation, and remediation</p>  <p>a. Asset misappropriation, corruption, and false representations;</p>  <p>b. Financial statement fraud; and</p>  <p>c. Fraud and forensic accounting in the digital environment.</p><p>• Forensics and litigation advisory services, including research and analysis, valuation of losses and damages, dispute investigation, and conflict resolution (including arbitration and mediation).</p>
