Medical Billing & Coding Program Description
Fortis College is proposing to offer an Associate of Science in Medical Billing and Coding degree in Landover, Maryland as an option for students enrolled in its existing Lower Division Certificate in Medical Billing and Coding.  The objective of the curriculum is to train and develop individuals in the new century and technological developments that have significantly enhanced both quality and productivity, increasing complexities in coding, changes in coding standards.  Students will acquire a solid foundation of billing and coding fundamentals and technological skills for medical office, clinic or hospital settings.
