Seafarers Harry Lundeberg School of Seamanship

The Seafarers Harry Lundeberg School of Seamanship at the Paul Hall Center for Maritime Training and Education offers associate of applied science degrees and certificates in nautical science and marine engineering. It is located on a 70-acre waterfront campus in southern Maryland. Curriculum includes academic and practical skills required by positions on U.S. merchant ships. The basic training program is run on a quasi-military basis. Upon completion of the Unlicensed Apprentice Program, students are placed aboard U.S. flag ships and become full members of the Seafarers International Union. Degree and certificate requirements are completed by alternating working sea voyages with school attendance.
