Closed-Site Offering: Special Education @ USG  Program Description

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education is designed for those already certified in Special Education but who desire to further specialize in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and severe disabilities. Graduates of the program will earn an endorsement in severe disabilities. Successful completion of the program will equip graduates with ASD specific knowledge and skills, prepare them to serve students with severe and challenging behaviors, allow them to effectively use emerging and evidence-based technology and assist them in working with families and multi-cultural and racially diverse groups.
