Bachelor of Science in BusinessPenn State's online Bachelor of Science in Business helps students develop an understanding of the most important areas of business. Master of Education in Earth SciencesThe online Master of Education in Earth Sciences program features courses from multiple disciplines in Penn State’s College of Earth and Mineral Sciences and the Eberly College of Science, including geosciences, energy and mineral engineering, meteorology, geography, and astronomy. The program also includes courses in curriculum and instruction through Penn State’s College of Education.The curriculum can prepare you to help students in grades 7 through 12 master the educational objectives related to Earth and space science. Bachelor of Arts in Energy and Sustainability PolicyThis degree was designed by an advisory board of energy industry experts and Penn State faculty. Enhance your research and communication skills and foreign language and international competencies with our instructor-led online classes and internship and/or field experiences.The energy and sustainability policy curriculum was designed to help you achieve five overarching educational objectives: energy industry knowledge a sustainability ethic analytical skills communication skills global perspectiveThe Sloan Consortium recognized the Bachelor of Arts in Energy and Sustainability Policy as the Outstanding Online Program in 2012.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing With Penn State World Campus, all RN to B.S. classes are online, and you can fulfill your clinical requirements near your home. You can also choose to take your nursing courses at an accelerated pace for ultimate flexibility through our Accelerated RN to B.S. program. If you live near a Penn State campus and wish to participate in both classroom and online learning, you can blend the two experiences while earning your degree.

Associate of Science in Human Development and Family StudiesImmediate results — Penn State World Campus offers a choice of two certificates that you can earn while you work toward your associate degree in HDFS: the Undergraduate Certificate in Adult Development and Aging Services and the Undergraduate Certificate in Children, Youth, and Family Services. Credits earned in these certificates may be applied toward the associate in science in HDFS.Two Options — These options were created to give you a choice so you can focus on an aspect of human development and family studies that best meets your career goals:The Adult Development and Aging Services option can prepare you for a wide variety of service roles in mental health facilities, or nursing homes and other institutions for the aged. It focuses on the biological, psychological, and social development of adults and elderly persons, with special emphasis on the various contexts of adult development, including work and the family.The Children, Youth, and Family Services option is an ideal choice if you want to work with various age groups in centers, institutions, and agencies. The program's ultimate goal is to improve the quality of planned services for families from varied backgrounds and community settings.Quality — This program was developed in Penn State's Department of Human Development and Family Studies in the College of Health and Human Development at University Park.

Bachelor of Science in Information Science and TechnologyThis degree is particularly suitable if you can bring your current real-world IT experience to your studies; however, you do not need previous experience in the field.The online bachelor’s degree in information sciences and technology is a good fit if: you are currently employed in IT, have an associate degree, and want to continue your education to advance your career you are currently employed in other professional or preprofessional positions and wish to expand your employment opportunities if you are already employed in IT and want to enter a bachelor’s degree program, but you have no previous credits toward an IT degree you want to change your current career and do not have an IT background

Master of Public Administration Our MPA program is designed to help you enhance your ability to understand, analyze, and control your organizational environment to manage more effectively and to promote positive change in the public and nonprofit sectors.In addition to blending theoretical and applied concepts, the curriculum covers organizational governance, finance, and administration while also providing "real-world" experiences for the novice administrator. Bachelor of Science in Turfgrass Science Legacy — Penn State became a leader in turfgrass education in 1929 when we launched one of the first turfgrass programs in the United States. As the first university to offer a two-year technical program specifically for golf course superintendents, and as the first to offer an undergraduate major in turfgrass science, we built a solid foundation for the turfgrass management programs that we offer today through the World Campus.

Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior AnalysisThis 18-credit, five-course sequence is designed for people who seek advanced knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis. The curriculum is intended to prepare you to sit for the BCBA certification examination sponsored by the BACB. The program consists of four online courses plus a fifth course which is a face-to-face, weeklong seminar held every August at Penn State University Park in conjunction with the National Autism Conference.

Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice The Penn State World Campus online Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice program, which has its academic home at Penn State Harrisburg, is the first online program in the nation to be awarded certification through the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. This certification underscores the high praise that the online program receives for quality criminal justice instruction. You can feel confident that this program fits your needs and is renowned throughout the industry.

Master of Health Policy & Administration An online MHA from Penn State can provide opportunities for advancement in your career as a health care professional. The degree program is a collaboration between Penn State World Campus and the Penn State Department of Health Policy and Administration and the School of Public Affairs. This partnership connects you with faculty from a highly ranked program, with 25 years of experience guiding student learning. Experienced faculty, the residential MHA program's 4,000+ alumni, and professional contacts help maintain the focus on emerging and complex health care leadership challenges. Our online program is built on the experience and excellence of our nationally ranked residential MHA program, established more than twenty-five years ago and recently awarded a seven year re-accreditation (the highest achievable) by the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).The online learning format offered by Penn State World Campus makes it possible for you to fit a degree program into your life. The credits earned in the associate degree and these certificates may be applied toward the Bachelor of Science in HDFS at Penn State. Use these credentials to set yourself apart on the career ladder as you pursue your education goals.Applied Learning – This may be an online degree, but preparing for a human services career requires experience working in the field with real people. Most HDFS students complete an internship at a human service organization in their community. Doctor of Nursing Practice Providing quality nursing education since 1964, Penn State's College of Nursing, in partnership with Penn State World Campus, can help you update your knowledge and skills to meet the demands of the constantly changing health care field. Based on your previous education and nursing experience, the DNP degree will have two entry options:directly from the Bachelor of Science in Nursing for nurse administratorspost–Master of Science in Nursing for nurse administrators and advanced practice nurses

Master of Education in Higher Education The Master of Education in Higher Education is a 30-credit professional degree program designed to prepare students and professionals for the field of postsecondary education. The master's in higher education is offered through Penn State's Center for the Study of Higher Education and the Department of Education Policy Studies. The higher education program has been a part of Penn State for more than 50 years.
