Higher Education Commission (MHEC) is charged with producing a
statewide plan every four years that clearly outlines the
priorities and major goals for the State’s postsecondary system.
The State Plan for Postsecondary Education is the result of a
collaborative planning process that involves MHEC Commissioners
and staff members; leaders from colleges, universities, and
private career schools, including faculty, staff, and students;
colleagues from other state agencies; representatives from the
business community; and other key stakeholders.
