The Business of Health Care  Program Description

The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (P.B.C.) in The Business of Health Care will provide students with a solid foundation that will enable them to lead health care organizations. Students will have an opportunity to experience issues that are relevant to the businesses of medicine and health care from multiple perspectives. The program is structured to provide the foundation for business leadership while providing useful information on patient safety, management topics of particular interest in nursing, medical informatics, and public health applications of the tools and processes being taught. Graduates will be able to critically appraise the business and public health implications of changes in health care and medical policy.
