Creative Writing  Program Description

The proposal for a concentration in Creative Writing reflects the fact that since the late 1990s many English majors are creative writers, and it is partly at the behest of these students that Goucher seeks to distinguish a Creative Writing Concentration from a Writing Concentration. The concentration will offer qualified students the opportunity to specialize in poetry, fiction writing, or a combination of the two for a three or for four year period.
