Research Administration  Program Description

Johns Hopkins University (JHU) is proposing to offer a new Master of Science in Research Administration. The program will provide a firm foundation for understanding how the research enterprise is organized in the U.S. and around the globe, how university and college research offices are organized and led, and how the federal and non-profit sectors facilitate research. Students will be introduced to the basics of management of sponsored programs, including finances and information technology, as well as legal, ethical, regulatory and compliance issues. The degree will be offered in both traditional and online formats.
