Health Science   Program Description

University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) has proposed to offer a new Master of Science in Health Science degree. Courses will be offered entirely online and hybrid format. The program intends to meet the credential requirements for entry into the Physician Assistant profession, the healthcare needs of Maryland and health policy changes occurring at the State and national level. Initially, the proposed degree will be offered exclusively to graduates of Anne Arundel Community College’s Physician Assistant (AACC-PA) degree program provided they meet UMB’s graduate admissions criteria. After the initial offering period, other students may apply for admission to the program.
