OOS Renewal  Program Description

South University has submitted a renewal application to offer both a Registered Nurse to Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing. Both programs are offered online but have practica located in Maryland. South University is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.The RN to MSN program has four areas of specialization, resulting in a program ranging from 213 to 227 quarter credits. The MSN program has four areas of specialization, resulting in a program ranging from forty-eight to sixty-two quarter credits The programs blend nursing theory with advanced practice concepts that will prepare students to work within a healthcare organizational or educational setting. The program includes integrated practical experience, practicums in area of specialization, and a final project to assess learning outcomes.
