      Established by executive order in fall 2007, the P-20 Leadership Council works to coordinate efforts in education, workforce creation, and business to ensure Maryland offers excellence in teaching and learning and prepares all of its citizens to be productive, innovative, engaged members of its workforce and communities.

    • Provides information technology support to the agency. 
      • Daily administration of information technology resources
      • Network, computer and application support
      • Systems development and maintenance
      • Information technology planning
    • Administers the State and federal Higher Education data collections.
      • Manages the collection and processing of enrollment, degree, employee, and other institutional data from numerous State surveys
      • Coordinates the collection of federal data for the national Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS)
