The Physical and Occupational
Therapists and Assistants Grant Program has been consolidated into the
Workforce Shortage Student Assistance Grant Program.
There are no new/renewal awards being made under the PTOT
program name.
If you received an award under the
PTOT program name, you have agreed to work full-time as a therapist or
therapist assistant in a Maryland facility that accommodates or provides
service to handicapped children, one year for each year of the award, or
repay the scholarship with interest. You must begin your service obligation
within six (6) months of graduation. If you held this scholarship with
any other award requiring a service obligation, you must perform your
service in consecutive years.
All
new awards made in this major
or occupational fields will now be made under the Workforce Shortage Student
Assistance Grant Program. Please visit our website for
information on the WSSAG program and for program application information.
