What is the Maryland College Aid Processing System (MD CAPS)?

MD CAPS is MHEC's comprehensive financial aid system that allows us to process State scholarship applications and allocate funds more efficiently using today's technology. It replaces our old Student Inquiry system.  To use MD CAPS, you must first create a Student Login Profile and then click the activation link in the message sent to your email account.  To create a profile, click the MD CAPS logo above or click https://mdcaps.mhec.state.md.us.  Next, click "Create a Student Login" located below the yellow [Login] button.
