MODIFYING
PROGRAM(S) ON THE MARYLAND WIA STATE LIST
It is imperative
that accurate program information be displayed on the Maryland WIA State List of Occupational Training Providers.
Local Workforce Investment Boards (LWIB) can deny WIA funding for programs with inaccurate program
information displayed on the Maryland WIA State List.
It is the responsibility
of the Training Provider to notify the Commission of any modifications.
Of particular importance
is up-to-date information regarding: (1) tuition, (2) other training cost, and (3) length of the program in
weeks. If a program has varying training schedules, a range of weeks may be reported.
To submit updated and/or
corrected program information:
Use the link
WIA Training Providers to select the institution.
From the list of WIA programs click on the program to be changed. Print the program information.
Clearly mark all
changes (cross out inaccuracies and write in updated information).
Date and sign by
appropriate Dean or Private Career School Director or Owner.
Submit to David
Jorgenson by fax (410-332-0270) or by email at
djorgens@mhec.state.md.us.
Only written requests will
be accepted for program modifications.
