The Governor's Community
College Initiative for Students with Learning Disabilities
Grant Program
This overarching goal of this grant program, based on
recommendations of The Task Force on Students with
Disabilities at Community Colleges, is to increase the
number of students with disabilities attending community
college and who graduate, obtain a certificate or transfer
to four-year institutions. This request for applications
seeks community college partners to provide education and
outreach to high school seniors and community college
freshman with disabilities to assist students in enrolling
and persisting in Maryland’s public community colleges.
